On the hunt for an Operations Director within the "Africa" expat space, for the DRC.

Duties & Responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications Criteria:
  • Degree/Masters or PhD in Milling/Feed or Food Science
  • At least 9 years industry experience as an expat 
  • Ideal industries would be from milling, baking or feed industry manufacturing and operation
  • Technical knowledge of agricultural commodities
  • Knowledge of and success in streamlining flour and feed milling manufacturing
  • Strong management experience with a solid track record
  • Strategic mindset
  • Operational experience managing divisional Managers in HR, IT, and Finance
  • Full expat package to be discussed
  • Strong production, operations, manufacturing experience
  • Focused of Opex and KPIs
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures
  • Will be doing lots of travel 80% of the time across various countries in Africa
  • MUST be fluent in French and English
