A. Directs and oversees the development of new markets for both long-term and spot sales of Saudi Aramco crude oil, LPG and refined products in SPL Singapore's marketing region. In so doing, undertakes business development visits to potential clients for the purpose of selling additional volumes of crude oil, LPG and refined products, to further develop customer relationships and market expertise and to gather industry and market intelligence (20%).
B. Oversees and develops relationships with existing customers for crude oil, LPG and refined products in the assigned marketing area. Makes business trips as described above in the furtherance of his duty (20%).
C. Directs the work of in-house staff engaged in these activities (20%).
D. Assists in contract discussions with customers on behalf of Saudi Aramco as required (10%).
E. Coordinates the review of crude oil and LPG pricing, relative crude oil supply and demand patterns, competitiveness with similar energy alternatives, other market trends and market intelligence (10%).
F. Develops and recommends marketing plans and strategies.
G. Conducts market research by country and continuously updates the energy demand and supply outlook for his region; develops special marketing reports as requested.
H. Coordinates inspection and verification of cargo discharge when required on behalf of the Bolanter Corporation, NV, a Saudi Aramco subsidiary.
I. Locates sellers of refined products and buyers for sulfur when requested to do so by Saudi Aramco.
J. Performs all management functions required for an SPL branch office and administers applicable service agreements with Saudi Aramco and its affiliates; extends administrative assistance and guidance to employees providing services to Vela as carried out in the SPL Singapore office.
